A proper two-person wellness cabin — side-by-side with elbow room, not squeezed in. Inside are 8 Mica FAR infrared heaters (not ceramic rods), distributing even radiant heat up to 60 °C across the wider cabin. EMF averages 1.3 mG — 42× lower than competing saunas. Canadian Hemlock tongue-and-groove, dual-wall construction, clicks together with locking clasps — no tools, 5–6 main pieces, typically 30 minutes with two people. Plugs into any UK 13 A socket. Same sauna experience as the Chilliwack, bigger format.
Most home infrared saunas at this size sit in the £3,500–£6,000 bracket. The Tremblant is £2,099.00, and it gets there without cutting the bits that actually matter. Cheap entry saunas typically ship with 4 ceramic rod heaters — point sources that cook you in stripes rather than bathe you in even heat, and that run EMF figures the brochure won't print. Premium imports do fix those problems, but you're paying a category premium for a badge.
The Tremblant takes the honest middle path. Eight Mica FAR infrared heaters — not ceramic rods — distribute heat evenly across the wider two-person cabin, each reaching 140 °F, rated for 3,000–5,000 hours of life. Eight heaters for the bigger footprint means the heat-up time stays the same as the smaller Chilliwack — more heaters over more area, same sauna experience. Mica's other win is low electromagnetic emission: 1.3 mG average · 42× lower than competing saunas. That number is user-verified and we print it because the category mostly doesn't. Temperature is digital, 20 °C to 60 °C, with most owners entering at around 35 °C — infrared heats your core body, not the surrounding air, so you don't need the blast-furnace 90 °C of a traditional Finnish sauna to get the same sweat.
Cabinetry is Canadian Hemlock — light-grained, low-resin, dimensionally stable at sauna temperatures. Tongue-and-groove panels, dual-wall construction, clips together with locking clasps. No tools. 5–6 main pieces. Typically 30 minutes with two people. Door is tempered safety glass with a reversible hinge (flip it to open left instead of right). Controls include a digital panel with timer and pre-heat, Bluetooth speakers, LED chromotherapy with 20+ colours, and an aromatherapy canister — all pre-installed at the factory. Plugs into any UK 13 A socket, draws 1,920 W total — roughly ~39p if the heaters ran flat out; 20–25p typical at 2026 UK rates (heaters cycle down once at temperature). Free kerbside mainland UK delivery. 12 months all-in, parts and labour. That's the spec.
One wood, chosen for the job.
The Tremblant ships in a single specification: Canadian Hemlock tongue-and-groove, dual-wall construction, tempered safety glass door with reversible hinge, eight Mica FAR infrared heaters pre-installed, digital controls, Bluetooth, LED chromotherapy and aromatherapy canister all built in from the factory. No colour options, no trim levels. One cabin, built to do the job.
Canadian Hemlock — low-resin, low-scent, stable.
The Tremblant is framed in Canadian Hemlock — light-grained, low-resin, low-scent, dimensionally stable at sauna temperatures. Hemlock is the home-sauna category's working wood for a reason: it doesn't bleed sap like softer species, and it holds its tolerances through the heat-cool cycle. Important: this isn't cedar. If you're cross-shopping "cedar sauna" listings, Hemlock is the correct timber for an infrared cabin at this size.
Tongue-and-groove, dual-wall.
Panels are tongue-and-groove jointed — the traditional sauna joint, not butt-joined sheets. Construction is dual-wall, so there's an air gap between inner and outer skin that both insulates and quietens. Footprint 127 × 105 cm, height 195 cm. 137 kg dry, but the sauna ships as 5–6 separate panels (each 15–30 kg) — one person can carry them.
8 Mica heaters — named, not implied.
Inside the wall panels sit 8 Mica FAR infrared heaters. Mica is the wider, cleaner-emitting alternative to the 4 ceramic rods most entry saunas ship with. Each panel reaches 140 °F, rated for 3,000–5,000 hours, and together they distribute radiant heat evenly across the cabin instead of cooking you in stripes. Average EMF inside the cabin is 1.3 mG — 42× lower than competing saunas. That figure is why we specify Mica rather than ceramic.
Tempered glass door, reversible hinge.
Full-height tempered safety glass door — the visual cue that turns this into a piece of wellness equipment rather than a cupboard. The hinge is reversible: during assembly you can flip the door to open left instead of right, so the Tremblant fits the corner of the room you've chosen without forcing you to rearrange everything else. Handle on both sides.
